I thought I would share these bookmarks I made for my friends mom.

she needed cute bookmarks for the group of girls she teaches at church.

I just happened to use red and aqua so I thought I would share them during

my red and aqua week.

I printed them on heavy 110lb cardstock.

I decided to sew the ribbon at the top.

wow another friday…they come so fast.

i have been taking lots of different families pictures lately. i am always busy with

editing and photo shoots this time of year. fun, but busy.

i went up the canyon yesterday and took pics of my own kiddos.  ya that wasn’t very fun.

i hope i got some good ones.  after we were done i didn’t have the energy to download them.

holiday challenge

for this months lizzie anne design team challenge we were to make a card

we have a long weekend and the husband is off.  FUN FUN.

plus NO soccer this weekend, what are we going to do with ourselves.

we might just fight the whole weekend. 

we won’t.

but it has happened before:)

pumpkin patch, movie, REAL soccer game, yard work, house projects, craft, stay up late…just a few ideas

for this months lizzie anne challenge we were asked to design packaging.

i had these cute lemon sugar sticks (not that good, but cute).

i used butterfly stamps from  the june mix “life is good” to decorate the bag.

rise and shine

this mornin i feel a little out of it.  i slept hard.  sheesh.  i was tired. 

boutique ballou has kept me up the last few nights.  i am thrilled about that.  i just think i needed to crash last night.

 

i have a couple of baby gift tags to share today. i like to tie these on a gift bag just to dress it up a bit.

it’s not that i don’t like snow…i think it is that i am not happy about it being so cold.  and i was REALLY hoping it would wait until after halloween.

oh well.

 

i had to make a christmas card this morning.  And i really have wanted to use this wreath from the new mix.

my daughter lola said this morning that “christmas is coming”.  That was after she looked out and saw the snow.

i have a friend that wanted to make these tins for a church group.

she came over and we made up a couple of samples so the ladies could sign up if they wanted to make em.

cute huh?

i really love these little tins.

easy to make and just cute.

 

i love to line the inside to just finish it off nice.

 

 

for this cupcake tin i used the party animal set by lizzie anne.

 

  

 

and for this christmas tin i used love and joy by lizzie anne.

 

for the top and inside i just trace the lid, cut, and adhere to top and inside.  then decorate.

i buy my tins here.  cheap cheap.

move it monday

i love monday's. i am just so happy that it is a new week. lots of projects (non crafting) to do.



our baby turned 3 yesterday. it freaks me out a bit because time just passes so quickly. it seems like yesterday that she was a itty bitty baby.
(sigh, then cry, then sigh)


she loved her birthday this year, it was fun.

this past week i made a frame for her bedroom.

i mod podged the new lizzie anne digital paper to the front of the frame.

then i used the cuttlebug to cut a scallop circle out of felt with my nestabilites.

i used stamps from the new garden inspirations set.

i love the finish product i think these frames would make a great gift. i love to mod podge!!! it is addicting.

so since it is move it monday. i need to get my butt in gear. still lots of painting to do. one room is done. many more to go...

i am not sure what happened to monday. i think it is tuesday but somehow monday got lost. seems like everything just flies by...fast, i wish i could slow things down a bit.

i thought this gift tag that i made was appropriate for today!

i feel like we are on that skate board and can't slow down. i hope to find the brakes soon.

these are a few of the beaded creations i made last week. i will be doing some other beaded projects soon. i love making the baby and toddler bracelets, my daughter loves them. she says she needs a "puple" one. so i guess i need to make a purple one.

i made this piggy a few months ago for my cute niece. such a easy and fun gift. i bought the undecorated pig from hobby lobby. it was pretty dang cheap too. i grabbed a few paint markers while i was there. charlotte's room is yellow, orange, red, green, blue just all fun colors. so i wanted it to match. i have one more i need to make, i think this will be the new baby gift from me.

i love when a new release rolls around for lizzie anne designs. it does mean i am up late stampin, but that is not anything new.

today is the first day and there will be sneaks goin on up until the release on the 9th.

i have 3 projects to show you today.

first is "tea time" (who doesn't love a great teapot, fun options with this set)

next we have "welcome home" (i love that tree) i paper pieced the sun and tree.

last is "school days" (this set has the cutest images) i guess i will be sending some love with one of the kids tomorrow.

treats for the mom

every christmas season my mom takes my sister, sister in law, and me out for a christmas lunch. it is so fun and a i look forward to it every year. she brings us presents and we chat it up. last year we decided not to be so selfish and we take her presents now.

i made her a bracelet and earrings so i needed something fun to put them in.



i used the big flower from the jolies fluers stamp set by lizzie anne and then colored it in with my copics. the vintage button came from my grandma's button jar. (my mom's mom) i thought that would be a great touch for her little tin.



i lined the inside with this cute polka dot paper.

i love making things for my mom, she always loves what i make for her. (she has to because she is my mom) love ya mom! thanks for all you do.
