i went to bed last night wondering how great of a mom i am…

it was just one of those day yesterday that questioned my skills as a mom.

sigh.

as i peeked on them as they were fast asleep i had a rush of tears.

there isn’t a manual that tells us what to do and how to deal?

the husband and i just do the best we can.  we try lots of things.

i do love them with all my being.

not sure why i am rambling. 

i guess it is just weighing heavy on my mind today:)

so today i think we will just have fun.

maybe fun is what we need today.

“love makes a house a home”  i really wanted that as a stamp so it needed a house to go with it.

the house is a little quirky but i think it is fun. 

i used it on this page and then on the card below on top of designer paper.

when i did this layout i had a extra circle already done so i thought i would whip out a card.

i just had to add a jump ring with button :)

can i say i just love my kids teachers this year.

somehow between sunday and today a bomb exploded in my house and there seems to be laundry and toys everywhere!!!!

so i am declaring that today i do nothing but laundry! (after i blog of coarse)

i think i like complaining about laundry. it is the one thing that is a thorn in my side! for some reason if i vent about it i feel better. i like to have all the laundry done everyday. that is all fine and great if i keep up but if i let it slide for two days i get this crazy anxiety!

so watch out Tide here i come!

big february news!!!

i am so excited to share my big news. i am a guest designer this month with UNITY stamp co.
when they asked me i think i did the happy dance!


when i first saw unity stamps back at CHA last year they were brand new. i just could not get over the size of their stamps. i really have not seen stamps that are so big and perfect for scrapbooking. (they seem to be just as perfect for cards)

you really need to flip through their products page on their website. they have many awesome designs and a great unique feel to them.

i love getting their KIT of the month, i look forward to it each month!

shouldn't that mean that i get to hideout and scrapbook all day. i wish. national scrapbook day means that i get to do laundry, go to a soccer game, grocery shop and change sheets.

diva for the day

i was excited to be a part of the scrapbook diva challenge today over on SCS. Maybe i need to start doing these challenges every week so i can get caught up on my scrappin. lola now has two pages. WHA HOO!

crash

there has been a computer malfunction at out house. (we think it is the on off switch) it is kind of an important part of turning the computer on. soooo..... i had to use the laptop and i wont be able to upload the halloween pictures tonight! big bummer! i get excited to upload my pictures and to check them out. buttttttt....... i do have most of my pictures saved to my external hard drive so i can show you this!

lola has made an appearance into the scrapbook world. this is her first page. (only 18 months behind) not to bad for her, sully and porter are another story.

i used my cricut to cut out her name and date. i used lizzie anne jolies fluers to stamp the background and in the circle. this is the picture we used on lola's birth announcement. i would take a picture of that and show you but ohhhh ......i can't upload any pictures. sorry i will try not to whine about it again. it is better to whine to this laptop than to my husband.

a year late

a little over a year ago my sister was married. i made pages for people to sign when they came to the reception and i was going to put them all in a book. i finally did that this week. it only took me a year. i know, i am slow. remember, my middle child is still a baby in scrapbook world and my baby lola does not exsit. yet. the scrapbooking thing is a little overwhelming so i tend to take a long time to get going. anyways.

this is the opening page of their book. the lizzie anne jolies fleurs set matched the album that i found at hobby lobby just perfectly. paisley. oh how i love paisley. so the book is done, better late the never...right!

long overdue!

so i needed to start somewhere. i know i have said this before but i am way, i mean WAY behind on my scrapbooking. i was caught up when we lived in chicago but for some reason we moved back, had a third child and things have just not been the same.

i usually put multiple pictures on a page but i just love this picture and it needed it's own page. i was in a little bit of a hurry (and lola was helping) so i just pretty much sloped it together. i am not really diggin it right now. but its a start.
