christmas past

the big day is over. it was a great christmas. i love the spirit of christmas and i am a little sad that it goes by so quickly. on the other hand i am happy to clean it all up and put it away for another year. i always tend to take christmas down the day after. i get a little anxious to get back to our routine. plus the tree was so dry this year and i didn't want any fires.






i hope that your christmas was all that you hoped it would be. now it's time to welcome a new year, a new begining, a clean slate......wahooo.

dinos and sharks......wow

robert sabuda is the creator of many amazing pop ups. my mom introduced us to the christmas ones and they are magical. i just bought the shark and dino books for the boys for christmas and they are going to be the hit. i snuck a peak when they arrived today and mr. sabuda has done an amazing job. the pages come to life. i am baffled by this man's artistic ability. these will bring days of joy to the boys (and grandpa). can't wait! only about 7 months away. you can get them cheaper other places but he has a good web site.

5days + 4nights = boys missing dad

we are happy that john comes home from georgia today. we are grateful that he has a job but so sad when he has to be gone. get ready john, the boys are ready to wrestle, play bumperina, practice baseball, eat tic tacs, read books. o and sully says, "spot is taken" and the little "p" says you better bring me a surprise.

we have created chore chart excitement at our house. i found the best link for free custom chore charts. you pick the character, font, chores, and title. and you can change it every week. my kids thought it was the best. very user friendly and they were excited to do the chores. check it out.
