these are a few of the beaded creations i made last week. i will be doing some other beaded projects soon. i love making the baby and toddler bracelets, my daughter loves them. she says she needs a "puple" one. so i guess i need to make a purple one.

treats for the mom

every christmas season my mom takes my sister, sister in law, and me out for a christmas lunch. it is so fun and a i look forward to it every year. she brings us presents and we chat it up. last year we decided not to be so selfish and we take her presents now.

i made her a bracelet and earrings so i needed something fun to put them in.



i used the big flower from the jolies fluers stamp set by lizzie anne and then colored it in with my copics. the vintage button came from my grandma's button jar. (my mom's mom) i thought that would be a great touch for her little tin.



i lined the inside with this cute polka dot paper.

i love making things for my mom, she always loves what i make for her. (she has to because she is my mom) love ya mom! thanks for all you do.

a little beading

i have a friend that went to rome. she brought her darling daughter some beaded jewelery. i stole it for a day so i could copy.

i used waxed linen for the string and tied some knots. i like the style cuz it is a little funky. i like funky.

i hope to order better quality thread for the next time i attempt this style of beading.

fun night

i decided to pull out the beads and make some jewlery last night. i love pouring over the beads and finding the right ones to fit what i am making.

nothing like beads, good friends, and a diet coke (or two).
